Carolina Web Strategies grows to become Sprocket Logic 07/31/2007 "Change is the essential process of all existence." -- Mr. Spock Carolina Web Strategies is now "Sprocket Logic" - a name that describes what we build: "smart tools." New name, new web site, new web address, new EIN and tons of new features are now live. Many new features are still in development and will soon be released. We decided the time has come for us to put some of our innovations to use. After all, we will not sell technologies that we will not use. We take pride and place confidence in our products and services. Our work with our clients has exposed us to the operations of the largest web service and hosting providers. We have learned that "the largest" does not always mean "the best." Nor does it mean, "easy to use", "intuitive", "efficient", or "low cost". We found that simple tasks often take days or weeks to complete. Common services such as databases and script access are optional and often costly. Speed, efficiency and reliability are sacrificed. Sites are packed onto servers like cattle. Disk space is sold at a premium, marked up so high it makes bottled water look like a bargain. And customer "service" is farmed out to a chat "bot" or to a scripted non-tech in Dubai. This is not acceptable. Our commitment to our customers and your electronic identity is our top priority. We will not try to pack as many web sites as possible into a server. We will not force you to use antiquated technologies. And we will not put the security and safety of your data last. The old saying was never more true: If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. We put an enormous amount of planning and time into this transformation. Sprocket Logic is built from the ground up with two concepts in mind: ease of integration and ease of use.

Our critical systems' security has been improved by adding high-assurance secure certificates to ensure your private data stays private. No financial information is stored on our servers and all sensitive information is sent over secure connections. Yes, we had background and credit investigations conducted to get certifications this high.
All invoices from this day on will be available and may be be paid online. If you subscribe to one of our monthly hosting services you will soon receive an e-mail detailing how to automate this process. All online payments are secured with high assurance encryption and are processed through Authorize.net.
To more efficiently handle support requests we have implemented the PerlDesk ticketing support system which tracks your support request and organizes them in a centralized area.
"One login, many uses." While developing our new site we broke down all of the software packages we use such as PerlDesk (Support), Relay (File Sharing) and PHPList (Newsletters). We researched their authentication routines and brought them together under your single Sprocket Logic ID, which is provided in the column on the right.
Our all-inclusive mail system provides two webmail interfaces, mail account management, administrative functions, SPAM filter whitelisting and step-by-step tutorials on configuring Outlook, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird. Visit it here:
