The New York Times Opinion page on July 31st mentions Factory Farm Map, a project Sprocket Logic contributed significant work toward.

Working with Free Range Studios, Sprocket Logic mapped out the data structure and provided the connections between the Flash component and the server processes.

Several complex mathematical formulas were implemented to make sure the data for all fifty states and 3086 counties were properly calcuated.  Tying this data into the Flash component was also challenging but in the end a usable and informative map resulted.
