Mail Server Issues 08/27/2007 Monday morning (8/27) an incident was reported where mail was not being received. The reason behind this problem appears to be attributed to an "e-mail bomb" that was sent to our server, requiring the SPAM filter to process approximately 8,000 messages per second. The SPAM filters have been reset and the bomber's IP blacklisted. Any e-mail that was held during this time will be delivered over the next couple of hours. |
